Flow Map.
A map of the actual flow, its main steps, waiting, and handoffs.
YOPTIS FLOW CHECK
Are employees fully occupied while work waits, repeats, or gets stuck between departments? You may not need more people or new software. First, find out what is actually slowing the work down.
In up to 16 hours of expert work, we review one selected process, find evidence of friction, and form an initial testable hypothesis for improvement.
Recognize the friction
Work can stop at approvals, be duplicated across different systems, or move back and forth between departments. Individuals can be highly effective while the process as a whole remains slow. More pressure or another hire will not necessarily remove these constraints.
A task is complete, but the next step is standing still.
The same information is copied between tools several times.
No one knows who or what the next step is.
More decisions keep stopping at the same person.
We do not look for fault in people. We look for the constraint in how work is done.
A clear outcome
01
A map of the actual flow, its main steps, waiting, and handoffs.
02
A review of the strongest observed constraints and the evidence behind them.
03
Lead time, repetition, errors, or other relevant indicators where the data allows.
04
One concrete possible change and a measure for testing its effect.
05
A concise, plain-language written report with findings and a proposed next decision.
Even if you do not continue with Yoptis, the report remains a practical basis for your decision.
Check process suitabilityIllustrative example
The sales team prepares proposals, but all of them wait for the same approval. If we add a salesperson without changing the approval constraint, waiting can increase. That is why we measure what happens between completed tasks, not only the speed of an individual employee.
The sales team completes its task.
All proposals wait at the same point.
The queue grows when input increases but the approval constraint remains unchanged.Work continues after approval.
Illustrative example. It does not show the results of a specific client.
How the diagnostic works
We understand the business objective and the boundaries of the process.
We examine the actual flow of work and the available data.
We define the likely constraint and an initial testable hypothesis.
In a separate pilot, we implement the smallest meaningful change.
We compare the pilot result with the baseline.
The two-day diagnostic primarily includes the first three steps and preparation of baseline measures. The pilot and validation of its effect are separate.
A defined package
€1,490 + VAT
One clearly bounded process · up to 16 expert hours · Flow Report · one test hypothesis.
Check process suitabilityImplementation, automation or development, integrations, extensive data cleaning, formal audits, and measuring the effect of a separate pilot. Travel costs and scope extensions are agreed separately.
Before an order, we check whether the scope is suitable. If the process is too broad, we narrow it or propose a different engagement.
A bounded starting point
Evidence
The sample below illustrates the structure of a Flow Report. It is not a client case or evidence of results from the two-day diagnostic.
Simulated data. This example does not show the results of a specific client.
Before you enquire
Not in advance. The diagnostic helps verify the problem and define the first test. The actual result of a change is established through a later pilot.
Because we review one bounded process and define the scope in advance.
We state the limitations of the measurements clearly and recommend additional data collection where needed.
No. Intervention and measurement of its effect are part of a separate project.
No. The Flow Report is a standalone outcome.
Before we begin, we narrow it or prepare a separate offer.
No. It is only an enquiry and a suitability check.
